Richard Chandler Joins Accretive Health as New IT Director

Chicago, IL, October 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Accretive Health, Inc., has named Richard Chandler of Roselle, Ill., as the company’s director of information technology (IT) process engineering. Reporting to Patrick Funck, senior vice president and chief information officer, Chandler will be responsible for IT continuous improvement by implementing best practices, process engineering, quality and measurements.

Chandler comes to Accretive Health from Williams Lea, in Chicago, where he served as the global director of process engineering and quality assurance. His career includes 35 years of technology experience, serving in a variety of roles across software development, technology infrastructure, program management and quality assurance.

“His career began with a solid 18 years at Signature Group, which is owned by GE,” said Funck. “From there he held leadership roles at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Who2Trust.com, and SilverStream Software. I am proud to have Richard join our IT team during a period of growth and transformation that requires an esteemed professional with his level of experience.”

Chandler has a degree in applied computer sciences from the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Ill., and also a technical degree from the Technical Center of DuPage, in Addison, Ill., where he studied computer operations and programming. He has also received numerous certifications, including: managing law in IT, cloud computing, and operational effectiveness.
