Pifer Chairs Leadership Butler Class; VOICe Play Area Renovated

Pittsburgh, PA, December 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Leadership Butler County class of 2014 was chaired by Mars National Bank’s Assistant Vice President of Finance, Hope Pifer. The 2014 class included Pifer and 21 other individuals from organizations in the county who were tasked with rehabbing the play area of the Victim Outreach Intervention Center (VOICe). The center is located in Butler County, Pa. The project included fundraising for the materials, organization of the work project, and the hard work of clearing and reconditioning the playground at VOICe.

“I was humbled by the opportunity to work with such kind, caring and compassionate individuals,” said Ms. Pifer. “Twenty plus leaders with one common goal proved to be a formula for success.”

VOICe is a non-profit systems-change organization that provides free and confidential services to individuals and families who are victims of domestic violence and other crimes. VOICe works within our community to bring about social change and provide survivors with the ability to take control of their lives.
