After seven years of abandonment and two years of renovation, a landmark watering hole in Tempe, AZ comes back to life.

Originally opened in 1972 as Minder Binder's Bar and Grill, the “Big Red Barn” became a Tempe landmark and favorite watering hole for multiple generations. The building has been restored and refurbished, with a new kitchen, additional bar, and courtyard. The iconic Minder Binder barrel-wagon has been donated to the Tempe History Museum. The Mission @ Minder Binder specializes in fresh ground burgers and sourdough pizza (using an 1880s sourdough starter), and full bar. Open Sun-Thurs 4-10, Fri-Sat 4-11.
