PAC Machinery Introduces New, High Production Clamco Dem 2 Combo Shrink Packaging System
The new Combo Shrink System will be on public display at PACK EXPO 2014, booth #S-2052. The Clamco Dem 2 Combo Shrink System combines sealer and shrink tunnel in a highly versatile, productivity-boosting approach to shrink packaging.
San Rafael, CA, October 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Clamco Dem 2 Combo Shrink System combines an L-bar sealer with a powerful shrink tunnel for fast and efficient packing, sealing and shrinking all in one robust, compact unit. With its high performance tunnel blower and several key improvements over the preceding models, the new combo shrink system is excellent for high production environments, and is engineered to provide many years of dependable service with minimal maintenance. The Dem 2 Combo (220V, 20 amp, 50/60Hz 4400w) delivers consistently strong seals using a variety of materials. This shrink system is also available in a 120V version.
The Dem 2 Combo Shrink System feature a heavy-duty magnetic hold down mechanism that helps ensure consistent seal pressure and dependable results, plus the tunnel chamber has been increased by four inches in length to maximize shrink performance. This sturdy Clamco Dem 2 Combo Shrink System uses a digital tunnel temperature controller in conjunction with a heavy-duty tunnel blower that provides 360o air circulation for superior consistency and maximum performance. Adding to its ease-of-use, the system includes a height adjustment that enables the operator to align the product take away with the tunnel conveyor for smoother product transfer and to eliminate shingling.
The new system features a unitized package tray and film cradle (accommodates film rolls up to 22” wide) plus a pinwheel perforator. Package tray and cradle are designed for easier positioning of the product on the film. Options include a motorized take-away conveyor and a short frame version measuring 74” long (the standard system measures 89” in length).
