Erin Kuzz Awarded ELA’s “Sheldon N. Sandler Award”
Award Recognizes Commitment to the Global Law Firm Network
San Francisco, CA, October 28, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Employment Law Alliance (ELA), the world’s largest network of labor, employment and immigration attorneys, recently honored Erin R. Kuzz of Toronto-based Sherrard Kuzz LLP as its “Sheldon N. Sandler Award” recipient.
The “Sheldon N. Sandler Award” recognizes members of the ELA who have made “extraordinary and lasting contributions to the organization.” It is named in honor of attorney and long-time contributor Sheldon (“Shel”) N. Sandler, of Delaware member firm Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP and is bestowed annually.

Erin R. Kuzz is a founding member of Sherrard Kuzz. She works with a diverse array of clients, advising on issues including collective bargaining, employee relations, human rights and accommodation, management training, Ontario Labour Relations Board Proceedings, privacy and workplace audits.
Active in the community, Kuzz is past chair of the Labour and Employment Section of the Ontario Bar Association and lectures frequently on issues such as progressive discipline, attendance management, positive employee relations, remaining union-free and workplace harassment. She has as taught at Osgoode Hall Law School and the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and was asked by the Law Society of Upper Canada to write the Bar Admission Licensing Examination Study Materials for Labour Law.
A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School (LLB., 1997) and York University (B.A., 1992), Kuzz has been recognized by Chambers Global, Who’s Who Legal and Best Lawyers as one of Canada’s leading employment and labour lawyers.
