Central Florida adventure booking company, Get Local LLC, hosted its grand opening last week, unveiling the finalized version of the Get Local LLC website.
“We couldn’t be happier right now,” Get Local owner and found Mike Black said. “We’ve been working for months to get this ready and to finally release our final product is an amazing feeling.”
Get Local LLC is a boutique travel agency based in Orlando, FL. The company aims to give Central Florida visitors a chance to escape the vacation norm and experience the parts of Central Florida that locals love. Offering mostly outdoor and adventure activities, Get Local provides booking and travel planning for fishing charters, standup paddleboard tours, Scuba diving tours, kayaking tours, discount theme park tickets and much more.
“We want to give our customers an authentic Central Florida experience,” Get Local VP Trey Dyer said. “Mike and I founded this company with one phrase in mind, ‘travel like a local.’ When customers use Get Local, they aren’t falling into tourist traps. The website offers what Dyer calls a “one-stop shop” to book tours and trips and provides recommendations for restaurants and other off-the-beaten-path activities in Central Florida.
In celebration of the launch, Get Local is hosting a launch event happy hour on November 11th at Ember Restaurant in downtown Orlando from 5:30-7:30 P.M. The event will feature drinks and hors d'oeuvres as well as raffles for prizes and giveaways.
“We want to use our launch event to say thank you to everyone who has supported us,” Black said. “The Central Florida community has given so much to us as we built Get Local; this is just a small way for us to show how grateful we are.”
