Accurate 2.0: More Flexibility for Enhanced Efficiency

Bassano del Grappa, Vicenza, Italy, October 30, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Following the success of the Accurate range, Climaveneta – a European leader in both HVAC and HPAC systems, launches Accurate 2.0, a completely renovated range of chilled water air conditioners for data center cooling. The new series, already available for both 50 and 60 Hz markets, incorporates a number of innovations, enhancing flexibility and reliability whilst maintaining the unparalleled efficiency required by most IT applications.

For the whole Accurate 2.0 range, Climaveneta has put great efforts into the use of highly efficient components, both for the heat exchanger and the fan section. First of all, the heat exchangers have been meticulously redesigned to work with very high exchange fluid temperatures. Whilst maintaining the same height and length for the external casing, the surface area has been enlarged, thus ensuring better performances and very low pressure drops. For the fan section, Accurate 2.0 is equipped with EC PUL fans made of a polymeric ultralight material that promotes a more precise modulated airflow management and reduction in power absorption by around 25%.

The major range renovation is the introduction of two expanded versions featuring two independent modules, one for the heat exchangers located on the floor and the other containing the fan section, which usually sits under the floor.

Specially conceived to meet the requirements of medium and large-sized data centers, these versions with renovated heat exchangers and expanded layout perfectly fit with free cooling applications. They can reduce up to 40% of the energy consumption and achieve the best ratio between EER and cost/kW. Available both as a single or double circuit, the new AC and AB expanded versions will stand next to the AC and AB standard units, providing IT managers with more flexible and versatile solutions suitable for installation both on and under the raised floors.

The heart of the units is the integrated Evolution+ controller, a smart electronic control that allows the unit to quickly adapt to fast changing environmental conditions thanks to more advanced control capabilities.

Through an advanced algorithm called ADS (Adaptive Set Point), Evolution+ provides perfect free cooling management as well as dynamic heat load management, better known as active redundancy, which delivers great advantages in terms of efficiency and increased system reliability.

Available with two different cooling modes, with a single or double circuit, the new Accurate 2.0 range covers a range from 4 to 235 kW.
