NCVMA to Host 19th Annual North Carolina Veterinary Conference Oct. 31 – Nov. 2

Statewide Conference Offers Continuing Education for Veterinarians, Veterinary Technicians and Other Paraprofessionals.

Raleigh, NC, November 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA) has announced that the 19th annual North Carolina Veterinary Conference (NCVC) will take place on Friday, Oct. 31 through Sunday, Nov. 2 at the Raleigh Convention Center, located at 500 S. Salisbury St. The conference is conducted under the auspices of the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association and the North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine.

The 2014 conference will focus on small animal, equine, ruminant and practice management topics, as well as public practice, animal welfare, poultry and swine medicine. The conference will also offer topics for technicians specializing in small or large animals and an option to attend a diversity in veterinary medicine track.

Speakers will cover various topics for attendees to continue their education in veterinary medicine. This year’s presentation themes include communication skills, emergency and critical care/urology, wildlife, bovine/small ruminant, gastroenterology, internal medicine, imaging, equine sports medicine, pain/anesthesiology, nephrology/urology, oncology and foot health.
