New Site Enhances Form and Function
Cary, NC, November 05, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Julianne Winkler Smith, President of Eydo Strategic Communications, today announced that Eydo was chosen to improve the design and functionality of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) – Research Triangle Chapter website. The new site, launched last month, enables members to navigate more easily, as well as serves as a dynamic invitation for new members.
According to President Lisa Wilson, “We wanted to create a site that brings added value to our membership, as well as embodies the personality of the local SMPS Chapter.” Wilson and the entire Board of Directors are thrilled with the clear and concise nature of the site and are anticipating a positive response. “SMPS Triangle Chapter was a great client to work with because they had solid building blocks for their new website and they knew their target,” says Smith. “Together we formulated the plan that would reach their target through an effective, welcoming and user-friendly interface. The client’s responsiveness throughout the process led to a quick project turnaround.”
Simple, visible navigation around the site and easily accessible registration capacity served as the site’s foundation. The new site integrates SMPS’ graphic standards and color schemes into an engaging design that features the skylines of both Raleigh and Durham. Finally, the content of the site was carefully voiced to reach those who, although working in a technical industry, devote their time to marketing and business development rather than design.
The site almost immediately realized dividends for SMPS. According to Lisa Wilson, Triangle Chapter president, “Shortly after our new site went live, we were contacted by a corporation who, after seeing our new website, expressed interest in sponsoring SMPS for an entire year. Already our new site is paying off. We enjoyed working with Eydo and recommend them and their work.”
