New Guardian™ Infrared Beacons Offer Reduced Size, Weight and Enhanced Performance

Keeping precise track of your personnel, vehicles and equipment in a nighttime tactical environment can be major problem for field commanders. Experienced operators know this fact full well and train their teams to recognize each other to ovoid “friendly fire” accidents while still maintaining covert operations and overall situational awareness.

Guardian™ infrared beacons are the most advanced nighttime ID markers available and when used in combination with a night vision device, allows operators to maintain exact location status of team members, search dogs, various types of vehicles and pre-positioned equipment. Roads, trails and other landmarks can also be identified with Guardian™ IR beacons for units operating in remote areas. Run time in flash mode is an incredible 300 hours.

Two Guardian™ IR beacon models are available; the standard version features constant “on or strobe” patterns at 850nm by simply reversing the CR-2032 battery. The advanced model features a programmable option that permits operators to impute an IR flash code of their own choosing. Various attachment options are likewise available, including a belt clip applicable to all standard web gear, magnetic mount and Velcro mount. Optional accessories include a wrist strap, head mount, dog collar and quick-detach backpack clip. See chart for complete performance specs.
