Girlfriends Helping Girlfriends to Victory

2014 Girlfriend Gala donates money to foundation helping non-traditional women earn a nursing degree.

Wayne, PA, November 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Victorious Woman Project recently presented a check to the Phil-Hanna Fund, which gives scholarships to women returning to college into the nursing program at Delaware County Community College. The donation resulted from the 8th annual Victorious Woman's Girlfriend Gala held on May 21, 2014 at Edgmont Country Club.

Presenting the check to Phil-Hanna Fund Founder Phyllis Ann Mariani was Victorious Woman's Founder, Annmarie Kelly, and the Girlfriend Gala committee, Helen Gallagher, Doreen McGettigan, Amanda Bruton, and Cindy Falteich.

More than 100 women attended the Girlfriend Gala which was held at the Edgmont Country Club in Edgemont PA on Wednesday May 21. The annual event celebrates women, their victories and the joy of girlfriends. This year’s Girlfriend Gala was sponsored by Ease-Up Pre-Habilitation Services, Yoder and Armstrong Commercial Printers, and High Five Performance. Victorious Woman and local Realtor Maureen Ingelsby inspired attendees with her own story of victory and the girlfriends had some good laughs thanks to comedian Grover Silcox.
