Hernon Distributor Receives Award for Excellent Service from Hi-Lex Mexicana
Service award presented to adhesive distributor in Naucalpan de Juarez Edo. Mexico by tier two customer in the automotive industry.
Sanford, FL, November 06, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Hernon Manufacturing, Inc., the innovator in adhesives, sealants and dispensing equipment is pleased to announce that its distributor, Ingenieria en Sistemas de Adhesivos, A.A. DE C.V., has received an award on Thursday for excellent service from his customer Hi-Lex Mexicana (HLM).
Alfredo Guiterrez, Sales Manager for Ingenieria en Sistemas de Adhesivos presented HLM with HERNON’s Instantbond 73421. After a more than a year of testing, HLM recognized 73421 as the best adhesive solution replacing a competitor product. HLM was so pleased with the quality of the product and service and awarded Ingenieria en Sistemas de Adhesivos with the Excellent Service Award.
Instantbond 73421 is a state-of-the-art, single component, solventless, room temperature curing cyanoacrylate adhesive that polymerizes rapidly when pressed into a thin film between parts. The presence of surface moisture commences the cure of the adhesive. Instantbond 73421 develops handling strength within seconds and full functional strength in a few hours. Instantbond 73421 can bond a wide variety of surfaces including metals, thermoplastics, elastomers, ceramics, leather, cork, and paper, but is particularly suited for bonding hard-to-bond plastics.
“Alfredo led the charge in getting his foot in the door, negotiations, and testing. He was persistent and put the customers best interests first by providing a total solution that was superior to the competitor,” said Edgardo Rodriguez, Director of Sales and Marketing for Hernon.
After being presented the award, Gutierrez had this to say, “I want to say thank you to everyone who was involved in this effort, from the engineering of Instantbond through to the exceptional distributor training we received. I am confident that because of our training, we can continue to build good relationships with out different distributors and partners around the world and more awards will be won.”
Hi-Lex Mexicana is a tier two customer for Ingenieria en Sistemas de Adhesivos. Automotive manufacturers sometimes refer to companies in their supply chain as tier one and tier two suppliers. The terms indicate the commercial distance in the relationship between the manufacturer and supplier. Tier one companies are direct suppliers to OEMs while tier two companies, like Hi-Lex Mexicana are the key suppliers to tier one suppliers without supplying a product directly to OEM companies.
“We are very proud of Alfredo and Ingenieria en Sistemas de Adhesivos for having achieved this success,” said Harry Arnon, President of HERNON Manufacturing, Inc. “It further solidifies HERNON’s commitment and our distributors commitment to providing total solutions to our customers.”
