The 1st Annual Ramallah Festival of New Cinema Opens November 5th in Ramallah, Palestine, showcasing talented young filmmakers from around the region.
Hollywood, CA, November 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The 1st Annual Ramallah Festival of New Cinema Opens November 5th in Ramallah, Palestine. The one day festival will be open to the public at the Hostel in Ramllah, beginning at 17:00 local time.
The festival is a partner festival of The Film Festival Network. CEO Jeff McGary states that "Ramallah is the perfect place for us to spread the love of cinema on a global basis. We strive to democratize cinema and create festivals for people who normally are unable to see festival films. We feel that Ramallah is a perfect example of what is possible and we hope that the festival grows each year and becomes a destination for film lovers in the future."
The 2014 lineup includes films by Mohammed Abel, Mahmoud Yossry, Yaser Talebi, Matthew VanDyke and Karzan Kardozi.
