New Electrodeionization Evaluation Program to Increase the Life of Water Purification Systems

Burlington, MA, January 24, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Today Applied Water Solutions, Inc. announced its new Electrodeionization Evaluation Program (EEP). The evaluation program will review operational and maintenance procedures of all types and models of EDI such as: USF H-series, P-series, E-cell , Electropure, Ionpure, Ionics and others. The programs will evaluate current operating parameters and will recommend changes to unit operations and improvements to increase water quality and to reduce waste.

With over 17 years of experience installing and supporting EDI technology, Applied Water Solutions, Inc. developed its proprietary cleaning method to recover EDI units. The company has worked with all the major suppliers and is the only authorized independent company that can give a professional, objective evaluation for any brand. The EEPsm program is part of our larger System Evaluation Program (SEP), and Plant Evaluation Program (PEP).

Chris Gallagher, president of Applied Water Solutions, Inc. has broad experience in managing, manufacturing and designing separation and filtration systems within a wide range of industries. In addition, Chris has substantial experience trouble shooting, upgrading, testing and maintaining all types of EDI systems. He installed some of the first commercial EDI systems back in the 1980’s, and since then has contributed to the growth and development of the technology. Chris has presented at numerous conferences and published technical articles in various trade journals.
