Global Logistics Network Enrolls 200th Member
Morganville, NJ, November 06, 2007 --(PR.com)-- At its 5th Annual Conference held in Phuket, Thailand, Global Logistics Network announced that Shipair Express (China) Ltd has become the 200th member of their global network.
In front of an audience of 170 delegates from 120 member companies, Roy Stapleton, President of GLN presented Kenneth Yu, Managing Director of Shipair Express with an award to commemorate this major milestone.
Roy Stapleton stated “It is fitting that a company such as ShipAir - a leading company in their local market with an enviable reputation - receive this award because they exemplify the quality of members that GLN is able to attract. We have a vigorous selection process and reject almost three times as many applications than we accept. This way, our growth has been gradual but constant. We aspire to being the largest quality network rather than the largest membership network.”
At the Phuket Conference, Roy Stapleton also presented awards to several other GLN member companies including Maxicargo International Ltda of Brazil for their sales effort; Interfracht GmbH of Germany for being the most responsive; Honour Lane Shipping of China for being the most operationally efficient and joint awards to Triways Logistics (USA), Inc. and Distribution by Air for being the most valuable members. These awards were voted on by other GLN Members.
The 5th Annual GLN Conference was the largest conference to be held by GLN and took place at the scenic Novotel Phuket Resort between October 21 and 24, 2007 and included over 3,500 individual one-on-one meetings between members.
