Topflight Expands Capabilities with HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Press
HP Indigo digital printing makes customization and variable content printing possible, keeping messaging fresh, and brands top of mind with customers.
Glen Rock, PA, November 14, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Topflight Corporation, an industry-leading printer and specialty converter, has again expanded its capabilities, this time in the area of digital printing. Now customers can print on demand with options including the HP Indigo WS6800 press, UV-cured ink hybrid digital/flexo press, or heat-cured toner press for shorter run jobs; increasing speed to market, and creating little to no inventory and obsolescence, greatly improving cash flow.
A 100% digital workflow allows new art files to be sent to the press for each print job, giving customers an affordable option to run seasonal, regional and promotional graphics to keep branding fresh and messages current. Variable content, customization and serialization, made possible with digital printing, helps brand owners better connect with their customers and markets.
Utilizing advanced spectrophotometry, the color workflow on the HP Indigo WS6800 is based on the latest state of the art technology. Vignettes actually print 100% to 0%, and there is incredible detail in the images with no dot gain. Perfect ink to ink registration is achieved every time, with super small reverse or positive type down to 1 point. The HP ElectroInk prints 7 process colors (CMYKOGV), plus spot mixing, hitting 97% of the Pantone® color library. A variety of finishing systems, some in-line with certain digital press options, include varnish, laminate, foil, embossing and special coatings to complete the labels, shrink sleeves, tubes and flexible packaging.
"Consumers today expect innovative packaging that speaks directly to them. Digital printing now affords our customers the opportunity to do just that, allowing them to focus more on product life cycle management solutions, and less on managing print inventory," commented Brad Harner, Topflight's VP of Sales and Marketing. "The top quality digital and digital/flexo print options, combined with our extensive converting equipment options give Topflight the edge on providing our customers with perfect new solutions to meet today's rapid evolution of package decoration." The greatly reduced waste associated with digital printing also contributes to a greener, more sustainable environment.
