InSource Managing Partner David Silverstein Awarded Volunteer Impact Award
Wayne, PA, November 14, 2014 --(PR.com)-- David Silverstein, Managing Partner at InSource Technology Solutions, was recently awarded the Volunteer Impact Award for the ITWorks program run by Tech Impact. Tech Impact provides technology support to non-profits and communities within the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley regions.
Founded in 2003 with the help of Microsoft, Tech Impact has partnered with hundreds of organizations to provide an array of affordable technology solutions, from large-scale technology projects and strategic planning, to database and application development. In addition to a widespread network of experts, the company provides multiple community-based programs, including ITWorks, a 16-week training program dedicated to helping young adults gain critical skills for a career in IT. “I’ve been teaching for ITWorks for several years,” explains Silverstein. Upon completing the program, students receive a professional certification in IT and a real-world internship inside leading corporations and nonprofits, including Independence Blue Cross, Cozen O’Conner, Aramark, and RHD. “I have been touched by many of their stories and journeys, and I like checking in on their progress. I have an open door policy for the students in the program and they can reach out at any time for guidance and advice,” says Silverstein.
Having the ability to work with and positively impact the lives of so many young adults has been rewarding. “It is wonderful to be honored for something you love doing. The award was unexpected and humbling.” David is also an active member of Tech Impact’s Advisory Board, which helps guide the scope of services Tech Impact provides nonprofits as well as those offered through ITWorks.
As Managing Partner of Business Development for InSource, David has responsibility for building and sustaining client relationships. He also manages a great team of sales leaders covering the NY-Metro to DC area. He brings more than twenty years of experience in business development, client and account management at the CXO level to this role.
