Blue Desert Interiors Awarded Contract to Redesign Orthopedic Department at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center
Baseball and healthcare will go hand in hand to promote healing with the redesign of the orthopedic department at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center by Scottsdale design firm Blue Desert Interiors.
Scottsdale, AZ, November 14, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Blue Desert Interiors was recently awarded the contract to redesign the 11,400 square foot Orthopedic Department at Dignity Health’s Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.
The goal of the project is to improve patient healing by redesigning existing interiors into a baseball theme that inspires post-surgery activity through therapy and promotes an atmosphere of team collaboration with their family members and staff.
“We’re the only interior design firm in the Phoenix Metro area that specializes in residential, commercial and healthcare spaces,” said Mark LaPalm, IFDA and founder of Blue Desert Interiors. “Our team has over 20 years of experience. We will combine the feel of home, while meeting healthcare code requirements to create an environment suited to the healing process.”
Mercy Gilbert Medical Center is proud to offer the only hip and knee replacement program with Joint Commission accreditation in Maricopa County. They are one of four hospitals in Arizona to achieve this honor. Blue Desert Interiors takes a great deal of pride in designing a facility that will make patients feel like they do at home while recovering from surgery.
