Successful "Mind Your Business" Initiative at Stayokay Maastricht and New Expansion Plans Abroad
“Stop dreaming. Start acting. Mind Your Business.” A new international initiative from a young foundation now boosts entrepreneurial spirit in the Netherlands, after having some information sessions in Maastricht.
Maastricht, Netherlands, November 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- According to the main organisers of the first “Mind Your Business” event, their final initiative was extremely popular. They are pleased with the final results that were achieved there on Friday 24th February. After the success of this amazing project, Smile to the Future is pleased to confirm to its members that this idea will also be carried out abroad. The team is now considering the possibility of hosting its first event for entrepreneurs in Brussels, as well as preparing a possible second summit in Maastricht in the future. Nando Ngandu, the main founder and Chief Executive Officer of Smile to the Future, has stated that he is impressed with the response of the event. He has received feedback requesting new proposals about entrepreneurship in other Dutch and foreign cities such as Amsterdam and Madrid (Spain). His staff members are now following the progress of more than five new companies that have been created after the Business summit to ensure that everyone is able to have a successful professional career as an emerging entrepreneur.
The main aim of this initiative was to help local and international citizens from different backgrounds set up their own companies. They were given useful advice about business plans from experienced entrepreneurs in many ways. They were provided with high quality presentations and user-friendly explanations about Business, Law, Marketing, Customer Service, Entrepreneurship, Communication and Finance.
A large number of participants from different countries attended the summit in Maastricht and were able to follow the conferences from the six invited speakers from the United States of America, the Netherlands and Belgium. The final feedback of the event was very positive. The majority of the speakers have also expressed their interest in the “Mind Your Business” project, and would like to be present in more similar information sessions next year. Further, they have expressed interest in collaborating with Smile to the Future with the development of new long-term and short-term plans for entrepreneurs in Holland, Belgium and the rest of the world.
The final choice of the venue was also another good aspect that the guests mentioned to the organizers of “Mind Your Business Maastricht”, and to the owners of Stayokay Maastricht. StayOkay offered their facilities to our non-profit organization after having some meetings with Nando Ngandu and his members from the events department in the last weeks.
