Jake Worthington to Perform at Starry Night Houston

Asheville, NC, November 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Houston native Jake Worthington, a recent finalist on The Voice, will perform at Starry Night Houston on Saturday, Nov. 15 at Discovery Green.

The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s Starry Night 8.5K is an evening walk/run that shines a light on kids battling one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancer.

Worthington will host an exclusive meet-and-greet with local brain tumor survivors and their families. Teams that raise more than $5,000 will also be invited to participate.

Starry Night’s 8.5K course can be completed by individuals or teams. The event will also include activities for kids, entertainment, food and plenty of fun for the whole family.

At nightfall participants will illuminate lanterns to symbolize hope for a cure and honor our Stars, children affected by a brain tumor diagnosis.

A portion of funds raised will support a family services program at Texas Children’s Hospital.
