Kab accountants & belastingadviseurs Joins Russell Bedford as New Member Firm in Netherlands
The Russell Bedford network of independent accounting, audit and tax consulting firms has appointed Kab accountants & belastingadviseurs as its new Dutch member.
London, United Kingdom, November 07, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Russell Bedford International, the worldwide accounting and consulting group, has announced the appointment of Kab accountants & belastingadviseurs as the network's new member firm in the Netherlands.
Kab accountants & belastingadviseurs is a large accounting/audit and tax partnership with 11 partners and a total of 155 personnel. The services offered include accounting and tax compliance, audit, tax consulting and business advice.
The firm has its origins in a practice founded in the 1940s, and the current organisation took shape in 1982. Kab has grown rapidly in recent years mainly by merger and acquisition. The firm now has nine offices across the central and southern parts of the Netherlands. One of the largest offices is at Leidschendam, a suburb of The Hague, the political capital.
The chairman, Michaël Peffer, is based at Leidschendam. He is a certified tax lawyer/consultant with expertise in corporate and income tax, estate planning and M&A.
Commenting on his firm's strategic move to join Russell Bedford, Michaël Peffer explained: "As a member of the worldwide Russell Bedford organisation, Kab accountants will be able to draw on network resources and provide its clients with multinational support. The senior tax partner, Edwin Kleefstra, is based in the Gouda/Rotterdam office. He is a member of the Dutch Federation of Tax Advisors (NFB) and has specialist expertise in business succession, management buy-in/buy-out and pensions-related matters. Before joining Kab, Edwin had 11 years with a Big 4 firm in Rotterdam.
The senior audit/assurance partner, Jan Vreekamp, is also ex-Big 4. He is a Register-Accountant (Chartered Accountant / CPA) with expertise in the audit of large companies and in management consulting. He is based in Kampen, northeast of Amsterdam.
Hans de Wilde, an Accountant-Administratieconsulent (Accounting Consultant / Certified Accountant), heads the firm’s International Desk, which is located in Leidschendam. His role is to coordinate the firm’s international services for both Dutch and foreign client companies.
Kab’s client base is predominantly medium-sized businesses, covering a wide spectrum of industrial sectors. Kab has a good range of international clients, including subsidiaries of US listed corporations.
