Local Business Organization Will Hold a Food Drive for the Holidays
Local business organization encourages business owners to team up with them this holiday season to give back to their community.
Westchester County, NY, November 19, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The season of giving is upon us and as a holiday season tradition to give back to our community; Westchester Networking for Professionals (WNFP) has joined forces with Food Bank for Westchester in their mission to creating a hunger free environment. WNFP want to encourage our local business community to team up with them in give back to our community this holiday season.
WNFP will be organizing a food drive in support of their local Food Bank with the collection of non-perishable food item donations on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Vintage Bar in White Plains, NY.
On that evening WNFP will be hosting a Holiday Networking Mixer & Celebration for local business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals to meet, exchange business cards and get re-acquainted in celebration of this coming holiday season. Guests will enjoy an open bar, complimentary appetizers, and entertainment and grab bag exchanges.
Food donations will begin at 6:00pm, a Food Bank for Westchester donation box will be displayed at the event.
“It is important for to get involved with issue that affect our community, especially during the holiday season. It should be a time for joy and happiness for everyone and this is an opportunity to give back and assist in the problem of hunger within our community,” said, Theresa Todman, Founder of Westchester Networking for Professionals.
