Lamido Philippines Extends Its Helping Hand with Lamido4Charities Campaign

Lamido Philippines’ first charitable campaign is just in time for Christmas. Lamido gave privilege to its beneficiaries to market their products for free on the company’s website with all the proceeds going to selected foundations. Also, Lamido will shoulder all the shipping fees rendering every vending items to be free of shipping charge for both the buyer and the charity.

Makati City, Philippines, November 20, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Lamido Philippines extends its hands as the uprising online shopping company, with its first charitable campaign that will help raise awareness to the different communities on the country. The participating charities include World Vision, Tahanan Sta. Luisa, Virlanie Foundation, Habitat for Humanity PH, and Greenpeace. Lamido have gathered five charities to sell their items on their website for fund raising purposes with 100% of the proceeds to be given to the respective charities. In addition to free marketing, Lamido will be shouldering all the shipping fees for all the items listed.

Lamido Philippines’ website will be open for each of the charities to market their items online to help raise funds for any upcoming events they have for the yuletide season. Each of the charities have their own items to vend - Virlanie Foundation listed handmade stars for Lenten season along with bracelets and wallets made by street mothers. Purchasing these items will help street moms under the care of the foundation. Items range from 500 - 800 pesos. Habitat PH is selling high quality bench polo shirts that comes in two colors—blue and white. For a meager amount of 995 pesos, you will receive these embroidered polo shirts as a token and the payment will serve as a donation that will help provide decent housing to informal settlers and calamity-stricken families.

Greenpeace listings on the one hand contain Christmas cards and bundle of notecards made from recycled papers. Each bundle has 3 packs with 10 different designs that costs 500-600 pesos only. For Tahanan Sta. Luisa, they listed earrings, bracelets, necklaces and rosaries that are all handcrafted by the girls of the charity. The proceeds are directly going to the sexually abused street girls who made the product. Lastly, World Vision is selling hand-woven malong made by people from T’boli tribe in Lake Sebu, South Cotabat that are also known as the “Dream Weavers”. The sales will go to the Tribe and the indigenous families in the area that is being supported by the foundation.

Lamido4Charities Campaign: Introducing the participating charities

The five charities involved in this campaign was chosen by Lamido according to their goals, purposes and the beneficiaries that each of the charities have.

World Vision is widely renowned as a great foundation that helps communities worldwide. Specifically dedicated to working with children, families to communities in order to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice and helping these communities to become self-sufficient.

Tahanan Sta. Luisa serves as a rehabilitation center that provides crisis intervention programs for 23 physically and sexually abused and prostituted street girls. Annually, TSL supports these girls to reconnect with their families and possibly be productive and independent again. The programs are specifically designed to support them in their journey to social, physical and emotional development and growth that includes erasing and overcoming the traumatic experiences of the past.

Greenpeace is an independent global organization that acts to change attitudes and behaviors to protect and conserve the environment, especially in defending the oceans and also to promote peace.

Virlanie is one of the foundations in the country that helps and supports street children.

Habitat for Humanity PH helps Filipino families that are in need of decent homes. They focus on transforming lives through building responsible and sustainable communities.
