Idox Publishes Key Findings of Annual Funding Survey

Manchester, United Kingdom, November 20, 2014 --(PR.com)-- As Europe’s leading publisher of funding and policy information, Idox has been collating information on funder feedback and reporting it through funding databases like GRANTfinder, RESEARCHconnect and Open 4 Funding for the past 30 years.

In 2013, the organisation conducted its largest ever survey of funding providers which provided invaluable feedback and insight into why funding applications fail and how they can be improved. This report was later requested by hundreds of interested parties across the UK.

This year, Idox is pleased to announce that it has conducted a survey bigger still, looking at funder feedback for 2014 and collating such information for the benefit of its clients and wider UK organisations. Just some of the key findings from the 2014 survey report include the following:

· 44.4% of the funding providers that completed the survey noted that they felt that funding applications had improved in quality over the past year.
· 34.9% of respondent funding providers have been able to support 70-100% of submitted funding applications.
· 86% of respondents fully allocated their budget in 2014 for a particular funding programme.
· 26.6% of respondents provided funding programmes with budgets between £100,000 and £500,000 whilst 15.6% provided funding programmes that had budgets exceeding £1 million.
