Joto starts by asking for the types of things you'd like to actually attend in the real world. Tags range from electronic music and sushi to yoga and "fun date." From there, the app keeps a lookout for the things you mentioned, forever.

If you sign up with Facebook, it even makes recommendations of which friends could join you, and finds special deals (free drinks, discounted tickets). You are able to "star" your favorite events (similar to starring an email) to bring it into a separate view like your personal calendar. Friends can see which events you've starred so that you can easily know who is interested in what.
