The Amerika Group Celebrates Its 1st Anniversary This November
Started in late October 2013, The Amerika Group has been supplying the European promotional industry for a full year now and is looking forward to many more.
Paris, France, November 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Amerika Group is celebrating this month its 1st anniversary in the European promotional industry. One year ago, i nova and Zoogee World, two North American suppliers from the promotional industry, agreed to develop the European market together under the name The Amerika Group. They built a website, opened an office in Paris, France and started positioning themselves into the European promotional industry.
Not long after, a third supplier joined the group when Botanical Paperworks was inserted on the website and its products made available to distributors in all European countries. Finally in the early year of 2014, Blue Loyal, Soft Stuff Creations and Zorrell came on board creating a group of six North American suppliers worth, all together, above fifty million dollars (50M$) of yearly turnover.
The Amerika Group is getting widely known in the industry. In a short time, it positioned itself as one of the 250 suppliers being most looked at on Sourcing City (September 2014), an important tool for distributors in UK’s promotional industry. In the last semester, The Amerika Group has quadrupled its number of quotes requested by distributors all over Europe.
With the past being written, The Amerika Group is again focusing on its future as it prepares to add new suppliers to its membership in order to offer more new products for distributors again. In the early part of 2015, The Amerika Group, also known as TAG will showcase a brand new website and a larger catalogue.
The Amerika Group’s goal has always been to develop its membership to the size of about twenty (20) suppliers. Although they were hoping to have the full group in place by September 2015, the focus was placed instead on the development of the business for the group of six (6) which slowed down the addition of suppliers in the group.
As its European Director, Mr. Luc Bégin said: “At this point we are looking to grow to ten (10) suppliers and put all our energy behind the development of these ten brands first and foremost. If we get to our original goal of twenty (20) suppliers in two (2) to three (3) years instead of by September 2015, we will not see this as a loss. Our goal is to have a strong offer to our distributors with a high quality of sales service; not to offer anything and everything.”
Without the openness of distributors and the industry, TAG might not exist today. Every day brings new partners to The Amerika Group as more and more requests come in from all over Europe. It is with that in mind that The Amerika Group celebrates its first year in the European industry – grateful for the support and hopeful for a long and prosperous collaboration in the years to come.
