Fold-a-Cover G4 Elite and Personal Caddy Now Available for the All New 2015 GM Colorado & Canyon
The Fold-a-Cover G4 Elite is now available to order for the new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. And, for the first time ever, Steffens Automotive will be offering a Personal Caddy for a mid-size truck.
Caledonia, MI, November 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Fold-a-Cover G4 Elite and Personal Caddy are now available for the All New Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon in both bed sizes. This is the first time that a Personal Caddy will be made available for a mid-size truck. The G4 Elite and Personal Caddy are both currently available to order on the Fold-a-Cover Factory Store website.
Steffens Automotive has updated the G4 Elite for the Colorado & Canyon to the clamp-on installation method used on the G4 Elite for the new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. So, there's no drilling required and no need for access to the stake holes for installation. As with the G4 Elite for the new Silverado & Sierra, the weather seals will come pre-installed and the Center Latch Catch has been integrated into the Windseal Rail Assemblies. Plus, the no-drill installation makes alignment easier than ever by using existing holes in the truck bed. Additionally, the rear stake hole is left open to be used as a handhold for the Step-Bumper that is a stock addition to all Colorado and Canyon trucks.
As mentioned, this is the first time Steffens Automotive will be offering a Personal Caddy for a mid-size truck. The Personal Caddy’s installation process is very simple and takes only a few minutes. The Personal Caddy fully integrates with the G4 Elite Fold-a-Cover and sits below the front panel of the cover. This keeps it concealed and makes it independently lockable from the rest of the truck bed making it the perfect spot to store expensive tools or items that shouldn't be rolling around in the bed of the truck. Unfortunately, due to the limited size of the truck bed on the Colorado & Canyon, the optional sliding aluminum tray will not be made available.
