Nu Flow Now with Presence on Six Continents as Nu Drain Brazil Completes First Lining Project in South America
San Diego, CA, November 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Nu Flow Technologies Inc., a world-leading pipe lining manufacturer, installer and distributor announced today their newest international partner, Nu Drain Brazil has completed its first pipe lining project in Brazil, after completing a hands-on training in San Diego, California, this fall.
“Our latest partnership and installation project in Brazil demonstrates the demand for inside infrastructural pipe renewal systems around the globe,” Nu Flow CEO Cameron Manners said. “Nu Flow now has a presence on six continents.”
A Portuguese translator assisted Nu Drain Brazil during its in-house training at Nu Flow Headquarters in San Diego, California, where the new licensee’s technicians learned how to clean pipe, reinstate branch lines, build liners and manipulate the lining system for inside infrastructure. The Nu Flow training also assisted Nu Drain Brazil in understanding residential and commercial sales from inception to completion.
“I am happy with your [Nu Flow] technology and promise to do good service with Nu Drain Brazil,” Nu Drain Brazil CEO Marcelo Simões said.
After training, Nu Drain Brazil returned home and completed their first Nu Drain lining project for GloboSat, TV channel offices in São Paulo, Brazil. The building, constructed in 1950, had leaks and blockages in its three-inch diameter iron storm lines.
With access from the roof, Nu Drain Brazil cleaned the blockages with Nu Flow’s Pneumatic Micro-Cutter to return the pipe to its original diameter. Technicians then lined the pipes with an epoxy-saturated felt liner that adheres to pipe walls, acting as a new pipe within the existing pipe with no need for removal. After the application, Nu Drain Brazil did a final inspection to ensure efficient flow of pipe.
