French Named Vice President, Marketing and Communications at Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan

Detroit, MI, November 23, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan (CFSEM) announced the addition of Kate French as its vice president, marketing and communications.
In this role, French will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing marketing, integrated communications and brand strategies for the organization. She also will position CFSEM to current and prospective donors.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, French served as senior partner at Team Detroit, marketing a range of Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products and services for nearly two decades. Most recently, she was account director, Ford Division, Commercial Vehicles and Fleet, where she was responsible for the development of global and regional marketing launch strategies, product positioning and marketing and communications plans. French also managed several pro-bono accounts.
French graduated, cum laude, with a B.A. in English from Barnard College in New York City.
