Source Molecular to be Featured in EPA Technology Showcase
The EPA will be presenting next month cutting-edge water technologies it has developed including Source Water Tracking wherein Source Molecular is a partner.
Miami, FL, November 23, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Source Molecular Corporation will be featured in the upcoming Technology Innovation Showcase and Technology Transfer and Collaboration Seminar on December 2, 2014, that will hosted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency at their research facility in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Source Molecular is the EPA’s partner when it comes to Source Water Tracking. Source Molecular has a license to use EPA-developed technologies to track the source of fecal contaminants in recreational waters. In particular, Source Molecular can use EPA-developed and patented microbial source tracking (MST) technology for the detection of Human, Cattle and Chicken fecal pollution. Source Molecular is also working on obtaining a license for the latest genetic testing method developed by EPA scientists to specifically detect canine fecal contamination in water.
Many of EPA’s innovators will be attending the event and participants can experience hands-on demonstrations of cutting-edge water technologies. The event is intended to make entrepreneurs, business owners, scientists, engineers, financial institutions, and anyone with an interest in water technology innovation understand how EPA can work with them to design, develop and demonstrate innovative solutions to water challenges.
