Associated Builders and Contractors Houston Recognizes Hoar Construction Projects

Houston, TX, November 23, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Greater Houston recognized Hoar Construction for two projects as part of the ABC Houston 14th annual Excellence in Construction Gala. ABC Houston honored Hoar for their work on the Greenhouse Office Park in Katy and the M2 Apartments in Denver, CO.

A panel of industry expert judges reviewed all entries and announced the winners during the Gala last month in front of a crowd of 200+ Houston construction professionals. Project categories range from commercial and industrial construction to interior renovations and historical restorations. The award is a distinction for remarkable feats in the construction and project safety.

Hoar completed the Greenhouse Office Park for Stream Realty. It is a 5-story, tilt-wall office building with an adjacent 4-story parking garage to accommodate 800+ cars. This building has 250,000 SF of office lease space and will have a future, mirrored-image sister building and garage to the east. The office is designed per LEED Silver guidelines.

Stoneleigh Companies hired Hoar to build M2 Apartments, a 298-unit apartment community comprised of 15 two-and three- story apartment buildings, a clubhouse, maintenance building, pool and gazebo. It is wood framed with siding and stone veneer.
