Monthly Video Series Ask Hytrol Show Conveyor ProSort MRT 90
Jonesboro, AR, November 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc., manufacturers of advanced conveyor systems, controls, and solutions, provided a video demonstration how to adjust the ProSort MRT 90˚ divert bank. The current video is part of a monthly video series called “Ask Hytrol” focused on specific topics to help maintain conveyor systems and learn about new technologies.
The video describes proper lock out/tag out procedures, then demonstrates loosening the 3/8 inch bolts holding the cylinder-mounting channel directly below the divert bank. Next, the two jam nuts loosened and connected to the cylinder-mounting channel.
The height of the divert bank was adjusted by turning the nut clockwise to raise or counterclockwise to lower the divert bank. This process can be repeated on the opposite side of the unit. The divert bank is preconfigured to a standard height of 1/4 inch from the top of the channel. Once the divert bank is correctly adjusted, the jam nuts and 3/8” inch bolts should be tightened back in to place.
