Mars National Bank Supports Local Education Through Scholarship and Improvement Programs
Mars, PA, November 27, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Mars National Bank donated $30,000 earmarked for 14 schools or education programs in Allegheny and Butler Counties. The donations were made through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Donations included funding for student scholarships and educational improvement programs. The donations were all made in the 2014 calendar year. This is the fourth year that Mars National Bank contributed to these types of education programs.

Schools and educational programs receiving funding included: Christ the Divine Teacher Catholic Academy, Eden Christian Academy, Family Guidance, George Junior Republic, Girls Hope of Pittsburgh, Holy Family Foundation, Holy Sepulcher School, Homeless Children's Education Fund, Mars Planet Foundation, Neighborhood Housing Services, North Catholic High School, Pine Richland Opportunities Fund, Seneca Valley Foundation, and St. Killian School.
