WeInterpret.net Will be Offering Pro-Bono ASL Interpreting Services for Santa Claus at Francis Scott Key (FSK) Mall in Frederick County, Maryland
WeInterpret.net will be offering pro-bono ASL interpreting services for Santa Claus at Francis Scott Key (FSK) Mall in Frederick County, Maryland. Every year during the holiday season, FSK Mall hosts Santa Claus for children to take pictures with and tell their holiday wishes to. In order to extend this activity to all children, WeInterpret.net will be providing an interpreter enabling any interested Deaf/Hard of Hearing children and/or families to communicate their wishes to Santa.
Frederick, MD, November 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday, December 6th from 12 PM-2 PM and on Saturday, December 20th from 2 PM- 4 PM a staff member of WeInterpret.net (WIN) will be present at the Santa Set to interpret for anyone interested.
The WIN team is very excited to offer these services to the patrons of FSK Mall. “Our agency has always been involved with the Frederick County Deaf community. We think this is a great way to give back to the people of Frederick County just in time for the holiday season,” states Krista Citkovska, a member of the project team.
“We admire the involvement that FSK Mall has with the Frederick County community, and we look forward to establishing this partnership. Our team intends to create this tradition with the Mall for many years to come,” comments Tauna Faries, President of WeInterpret.net.
