Former Strangeloves Frontman Releases Solo Album
Phoenix, AZ, December 01, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Ken Jones, the former lead singer and frontman known as "Niles Strange" for the multi-hit 1960's rock band, The Strangeloves of “I Want Candy” fame has just released his first solo album, FLASHBACK on Valley Records.

Following his years of touring and performing the band's many hit songs, Ken concentrated on writing and producing his own music. However, he never released any of those songs until now.

FLASHBACK, is an eclectic compilation of some of the songs Ken wrote and produced between 1969 and 1981, four of which are the original analog recordings. The styles of these songs range from the exciting traditional rock with an R&B flavor that’s shown in the leadoff song, "We’re Gettin’ Closer," to tender heart-felt ballads like, "Fool" and recently re-recorded, "Don’t Call Me Again."

When asked why he decided to release these songs after so long, Ken said, “After years of being asked about my music career immediately after The Strangeloves, I thought it best to let people hear some of it for themselves.”

Having relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, Ken Jones continues to write, record and produce his own music, and performs both as a solo artist, as well as with some of his former Strangeloves bandmates.
