Kapipal Introduces Fee Model to Crowdfunding Service
Kapipal Inc. will introduce its business model with a service fee of 4% on funds raised by campaigns.
San Francisco, CA, December 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Kapipal is to conclude an exciting 2014 by implementing its business model that introduces a 4% service fee on the total funds collected upon the completion of each crowdfunding campaign. This means a campaign raising a total of £200, for example, will incur a service fee of £8. These changes will come into effect on December 1st 2014, but only campaigns made on or after this date, and agreed to the new terms and conditions, will be affected by the changes. Campaigns that were started before December 1st will not be subject to the 4% service charge.
Kapipal will continue to offer its services to support all Kapipalists, and the service charge is only incurred on the total amount of funds achieved by a campaign. This business model will allow Kapipal to continue to provide even better services and develop its technical abilities, thus greatly improving usability and the experience of Kapipalists.
Founded in 2009, Kapipal has helped people from over 150 countries and was purchased by Grow VC Group in 2013. Its strategy is to become the leading global personal crowd-funding website based on a rewards and donation model.
Commenting on this development Kapipal board member Jouko Ahvenainen said, “We have seen Kapipal serving as a valuable asset to many people trying to raise money for their dreams. We see the introduction of a reasonable fee as important to Kapipal’s growth, allowing us to continue developing our current services, and offer the service to more people. Kapipal remains intent on our purpose of providing an avenue for people from around the world to raise funds to realize their dreams.”
