Cedar Lake Cellars Hires New Director of Operations

St. Louis, MO, December 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Cedar Lake Cellars, a winery and event venue, recently hired Richard Sterck as its Director of Operations. In this position, he will focus on staff supervision and operations management. Sterck will handle the winery’s budget and financial services, as well as build corporate partnerships with the community.

Sterck has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Cedar Lake Cellars, he served in both management and executive chef capacities at a leading local food services company. He previously worked as the general manager and executive chef for a local winery.

Sterck earned his Bachelor of Hospitality degree in Business Management from DeVry University. He also earned his Associates degree in Culinary Arts from L’Ecole Culinaire. Sterck is currently studying to earn his master sommelier certification.
