Atlanta Ad Agency The Partnership Names Tillman Douglas Managing Director
Agency focused on Brand Evolution plots its own future in rapidly shifting marketing services space.
Atlanta, GA, December 06, 2014 --(PR.com)-- With a number of new clients and growing assignments from existing brand partners, Atlanta advertising agency The Partnership is proud to announce the promotion of Tillman Douglas to Managing Director.
Douglas joined the agency early in the year as an Account Director, bringing with him years of experience building entrepreneurial digital marketing firms. Since joining The Partnership, he has introduced a number of new clients to the agency’s growing roster, and has leveraged his broad marketing services experience to begin dialogue with a diverse group of potential future clients, too.
In the rapidly evolving, increasingly digital agency environment, Douglas’ involvement in the space, which dates back to Interweb, which Douglas helped to establish as an early leader in the southeast beginning in 1995 – sold a few years later to THINK New Ideas, now the Hackett Group – will give The Partnership an even stronger edge moving ahead.
“In a very short time Tillman has proven himself as a leader both here within the agency and in the business community on our behalf,” noted agency President David Arnold. “He has a great vision for where our clients are moving, for how brands and the market are evolving, and what our clients seek from agency partners today. His addition to our senior leadership team is in recognition of his entrepreneurial approach and the role I know he’ll be playing as we continue to grow in coming years.”
In addition to experience with major brands including Coca-Cola, Waffle House, NAPA, Turner Broadcasting, Time Warner, Georgia Power, Shaw, Haverty’s, and AT&T, Douglas has worked hard in support of multiple non-profits and school alumni boards, including the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business (his alma mater), as well as both Westminster and Trinity Schools. In 2006, Tillman was appointed by Governor Sonny Purdue as a Director of the Georgia Technology Authority, in recognition of his long term role in the local digital community. His overall efforts garnered the attention of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, the Atlanta Business Chronicle (which named him in their 40 Under 40 issue), Georgia Trend and Sales and Marketing Management.
“I joined The Partnership knowing it was a great match for my experience and point-of-view on how brands are evolving and where agencies need to go to meet their needs, and have really found it to be an ideal environment,” Douglas noted. “There is tremendous potential for teams like ours to make a great impact and I’m looking forward to helping everyone here achieve that vision.”
