NCUK Awards Ceremony 2014

Manchester, United Kingdom, December 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Students of The Northern Consortium-UK programme offered at Riphah International University were recognised for their academic performance with cash prize presented at the University of Manchester. Ms. Khaliqa Arshad & Mr. M. Sarfraz Chaudry of Riphah received their award in a truly global occasion with winners from China, Japan, Korea, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Malaysia, Mexico, Russia and Vietnam.

Ken Gill, NCUK’s Chief Executive, presented the successful students with their cheques and certificates. Delivering the opening speech at the event, he commented on how NCUK qualifications provide a pathway to some of the UK’s leading universities and one of the widest ranges of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This is the second year that the NCUK Team has organised an event to mark the academic achievements of the top performing students.

NCUK (Northern Consortium UK), is a unique organization founded in 1989 by 11 leading UK Universities. Riphah International University is offering the NCUK programme with the approval of HEC. Students are offered Engineering, Computing & Business stream. The students complete two years at Riphah and two years at UK Universities to complete their four years degree programme.

The award also recognizes efforts of NCUK Riphah academic staff and teaching quality at par with International standard.
