ADVANCE for Nurses is Going National in 2015
After 15 years as a family of regional magazines, ADVANCE for Nurses is combining all of its various editions into one unified, national publication that will be distributed to 715,000 qualified nurses across the U.S.
King of Prussia, PA, December 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The first issue of ADVANCE for Nurses was published in January 1999. It concentrated exclusively on the issues affecting nurses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Since then, ADVANCE has launched more than a dozen regionally focused magazines to serve millions of RNs, LPNs and LVNs across the U.S.
That segmentation helped bring targeted editorial content, news and job opportunities to the masses. But times change. The world is now more interconnected than ever before. A staff nurse in Los Angeles and a DON in Boston probably never would have crossed paths 15 years ago, but today they are sharing articles back and forth on a weekly basis with a few simple taps on their smartphones. To better facilitate this constant flow of meaningful content, ADVANCE for Nurses is combining all of its regional editions into one unified, national publication.
This new monthly magazine will debut in January 2015. It will be available in both print and digital formats. Each issue will be distributed to 715,000* qualified nurses across the country. They will also be made available for download on the ADVANCE for Nurses website, which attracts an average of 162,463* visitors each month. Furthermore, featured stories will be highlighted on Facebook and Twitter for national exposure, where ADVANCE for Nurses has gathered 178,092** fans and 9,357*** followers.
While this broader reach makes ADVANCE for Nurses a more geographically inclusive career resource, the content will bridge a variety of other divides within the nursing community—from setting type to specialty to position level. New lifestyle features, as well as the expert clinical articles that ADVANCE is best known for, will cover a wider range of topics to equally address the needs of nurses at every stage of their career.
This editorial expansion is, in part, due to the continual influx of CNOs, DONs and other director-level professionals into the ADVANCE for Nurses community. Nursing decision makers now make up 45%* of the magazine’s total circulation, and these changes will ensure that those professionals get a steady stream of resources that are geared to their unique information needs.
As a way of welcoming advertisers to the new national format, ADVANCE is offering special package rates to those who book space in both ADVANCE for Nurses and its sister publication, Nurse Practitioner Perspective, which reaches 155,556* qualified NPs and DNPs every other month.
