Holiday Outreach Projects Underway for Timeshare Resale Advertiser BuyaTimeshare.com
Employees from the timeshare resale company’s Tampa and Merrimack offices are involved in multiple holiday outreach initiatives to benefit children in need.
Tampa, FL, December 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Employees from timeshare resale advertiser BuyaTimeshare.com are in the midst of multiple holiday outreach projects to support the efforts of local charities meeting the needs of underprivileged children and their families during the holiday season.
The Florida office of BuyaTimeshare.com recently conducted a Thanksgiving Holiday Food Drive, gathering 450 pounds of food which was donated to Metropolitan Ministries of Tampa. The company is an annual supporter of the Thanksgiving food pantry operated by Metropolitan Ministries - a non-denominational organization funded by the Tampa community to provide support services to area families in need, having served over 23 million hot meals since its inception in 1972.
Looking ahead toward the Christmas season, the New Hampshire office, based in Merrimack, is working with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Nashua to provide toys for a family nominated by the group for BuyaTimeshare.com to “adopt” during the holidays. Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest and largest youth mentoring organization in the United States, with the Greater Nashua chapter working with children, ages 6 through 18, in sixteen communities across southern New Hampshire.
Meanwhile, the Tampa office will be working in conjunction with a local church in the Westchase community, Core Church, to provide gifts to children at The Children’s Home. Since 1892, The Children’s Home has been working in the Tampa Bay area supporting children through therapeutic and traditional foster homes, supporting forever families through kinship services, and healing the trauma of abuse and neglect for over 100 children in residence at its healing campus.
“I’m so proud of our team and the way they have reached out to help these groups,” said Wesley Kogelman, President and CEO, BuyaTimeshare.com. “This is the time of year that we reflect on how thankful we are for what we have, but there are so many children and families in our communities that need our help. It’s an honor to be able to give back and help during the holidays.”
