He is an international business and investment executive who helps companies strategize their investment needs and alliances in the global marketplace and provides resources for optimal results. Previously, Mr. Grigsby was the Owner and Operator of WENZ Radio from 1978 to 1981. He then served as Senior Financial Consultant for Business and Assistant Vice President at Merrill Lynch from 1981 to 1989. He was a First Vice President of Investments at Prudential Securities, Inc. from 1989 to 1995. For the next two years he was the Director and Executive Vice President and Director of Corporate Finance for Arosa Hotels, Inc. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Grigsby was the Executive Vice President at Global Health Sciences, LLC. He next served as Producer-Agency Manager from 2004 to 2008 at Senior Life Insurance Company. From 2008 to 2011 he held the position of Principal and Executive Vice President for Baron Capital Partners. Since 2011, Mr. Grigsby has held his current position with TGG Global Consulting, LLC and The Grigsby Group, LLC in Clayton, Missouri. He was an Advisory Board Member for the U.S. Small Business Administration, Regions II and III, during the Administrations of President Carter and President Reagan from 1980 to 1992. In 1986 he was the Financial Issues Specialist for the White House Conference on Small Business. In 1987, Mr. Grigsby was a member of the President’s Club at Merrill Lynch and in 1994 he received the Heroes Award from the Boys Choir of Harlem. He served on the Partnership Council at Prudential Securities, Inc. in 1993 and was a member of the Rolex Club at Senior Life Insurance Company from 2005 to 2006. He is a former member of AFIO, was on the Board of Directors at St. Vincent Greenway, Inc. in 2013 and is a member of the American Management Association. From 1980 to 2005, Mr. Grigsby wrote industry papers and articles that appeared in peer-review magazines and journals. He has lectured and spoken to the Institutional Investor, Black Enterprise, the Caribbean Press and the Black Entertainment Sports Lawyers Association. He was born in Greenville, Mississippi on March 6, 1949 and obtained a B.S. in Political Science from Mississippi Valley State University in 1970. Mr. Grigsby completed the A.M.A. Management Internship Program in 1974, completed M.B.A. courses at St. John’s University and attended the Donald T. Regan School of Advanced Financial Management from 1985 to 1987. In his spare time he enjoys travel, reading and ministry.
