Moore & Van Allen Litigation Member Receives Ayscue Professionalism Award

Charlotte, NC, December 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Moore & Van Allen PLLC is pleased to announce that Charlotte Litigation Member George V. Hanna III received the Mecklenburg County Bar and Foundation’s 2014-2015 Ayscue Professionalism Award. The award is presented to a current or former member of the Mecklenburg County Bar annually to recognize exemplary professionalism.

Hanna was formally presented with the Ayscue Professionalism Award at the Mecklenburg County Bar’s Law and Society Luncheon in November.

Ayscue Award criteria may include: outstanding service through or on behalf of the Mecklenburg County Bar or the Mecklenburg Bar Foundation; substantial service to the community, Bar, or justice system; and embodiment of the traits to which all attorneys should aspire, such as high ethical standards, model conduct, unquestioned integrity, and consistent competence.

Hanna is a veteran litigator, arbitrator and mediator with extensive experience in wide-ranging business and construction disputes. He also serves as a trial court mediator certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission and belongs to the Panel of Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association. Hanna was a founding member and is the immediate past chair of the Firm’s Public Service Committee, and was the founder and first chair of the Firm’s Diversity Committee.
