LOFTwall’s WEB Wall Honored as Interior Design Magazine Best of Year Winner
LOFTwall's WEB wall was chosen by designers as Best of Year for the Interior Design Magazine's Partition and Wall systems category.
Dallas, TX, December 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Rounding out a dynamic year of growth and innovation for LOFTwall, Interior Design Magazine revealed the LOFTwall Web Wall as the winner of the prestigious Best of Year Award (BOY) in the Furniture: Partitions and Wall Systems category. On Thursday, December 4th, 2014, LOFTwall founder and lead designer Steve Kinder accepted the award during a standing room only awards ceremony attended by over 950 designers, architects, and manufacturers at Frank Gehry’s iconic IAC Building in New York City.
Interior Design’s Best of Year (BOY) Awards is the preeminent competition of the design industry, annually recognizing superior projects and products in all categories of interior design. This year's 9th Annual Best of Year experienced record-breaking numbers: 2,000 submissions - growing by over 60% in the last 2 years.
The winning WEB divider screen series was designed by Steven Kinder, LOFTwall’s founder and designer, as a modular space division solution without creating a visually opaque barrier in a space. WEB is designed to be easily movable and have a unique visual and functional appearance. The design of interconnected and overlapping elements creates an aesthetic visual barrier for an open area without blocking off natural light.
