NPSA Helps Budget-Minded Churches Save Space
The National Portable Storage Association offers affordable portable storage containers to nonprofit organizations that need extra space – not extra building project expenses.
Kansas City, MO, November 09, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Growing churches are relying on portable storage containers to make more room for families instead of building materials, books and other items that go hand-in-hand with running a ministry. Alamo, CA-based Creekside Community Church Senior Pastor Nick Vleisides, says portable storage units are a critical asset to his church.
"We had the opportunity to acquire a whole office system of cubicles and walls and we just had no place to put that. We are trying to save money, so we didn't want to rent an expensive space or a storage unit. Instead, we acquired a storage container," Vleisides explained. He said portable storage containers also came in handy during Creekside Community Church's Operation Katrina last summer. "If the city told us that we had to get rid of our containers tomorrow, well, we'd be scrambling as to what to do with all this stuff," he adds. "It would affect our whole budget."
NPSA member companies are proud to service churches and other nonprofit groups that need a solution to overcrowded storage room closets and garages. Helping organizations of all sorts and sizes operate more efficiently and cost-effectively is one of the association's missions, according to John Finnessy, CMP, Executive Director the National Portable Storage Association, or NPSA, a nonprofit membership association dedicated to the advancement of the portable storage industry.
"Our members are business owners and we understand that it's vital to run any operation with as few resources as possible," Finnessy said. "This is even truer with churches and nonprofits that are trying to grow membership without overtaxing their budget. We are pleased to play a small role in helping nonprofit organizations fulfill their missions by providing affordable alternatives to new building projects. Portable storage containers really are the saving grace of many growing organizations."
