Kino Lorber, Inc., Acquires Award-Winning Feature Film Ways to Live Forever from World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation
Los Angeles, CA, December 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation has entered into a licensing agreement with Kino Lorber, Inc., for the award-winning film Ways to Live Forever. The agreement allows Kino Lorber the right to distribute the critically-acclaimed film for home video, rental and sell through, pay TV, cable TV, satellite TV, free TV, hotel/motel viewing, pay-per-view, and new media/digital rights (VOD/SVOD), among other things.
“Ways to Live Forever is a touching film that will inspire audiences of all ages,” says Kino Lorber CEO Richard Lorber, “with its message of bravery and fortitude in the face of a serious family trauma.”
Based on British author Sally Nicholls’ best-selling novel, the surprisingly uplifting story centers on Sam, a spunky 12-year-old leukemia patient, and his best friend/fellow-patient, Felix. Together, they set out to achieve their dreams and despite dealing with illness, learn some inspirational lessons about family, friends, and the oddities of life.
Ways to Live Forever stars critically acclaimed actors Ben Chaplin (The Thin Red Line, The Truth About Cats & Dogs), Greta Scacchi (The Player, Emma), Robbie Kay (ABC’s “Once Upon A Time,” Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Alex Etel (The Water Horse), Emilia Fox (“Pride And Prejudice”), and Ella Purnell (Maleficent, Intruders, Never Let Me Go).

Hancock, President/CEO of World Wide. “High-caliber independent films such as this require special handling in order to maximize sales opportunities, and few do that better than Kino Lorber.”
