Lynne Chandler Novick Supports Habitat for Humanity
Boca Raton, FL, December 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Boca Raton artist and real estate specialist is donating her time to a charity near and dear to her heart, Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach.
Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach provides a tangible opportunity for people to put their faith and love into action. They bring diverse groups of people together to make affordable housing and better communities a reality for everyone. By sharing resources with those in need Habitat volunteers and supporters have made decent, affordable housing a reality for more than 300,000 families worldwide. Partner families purchase their homes interest free, and mortgage income is "paid forward" to help build other Habitat homes. Through Habitat, people of all beliefs and from all walks of life can come together, pick up a hammer and help other build a better life.
“I love the mission and vision that Habitat for Humanity represents,” said Lynne Chandler Novick. “I also know how important it is for families to have a decent place to live. The families themselves put in at least 400 hours of sweat equity into the construction of their new home, the least I can do is find time to contribute.”
Lynne Chandler Novick, has spent much of her professional career in real estate sales and management. She served three years on the Boca Raton Hotel and Resorts Board of Governors, was appointed to the Boca Raton Downtown Redevelopment Board for four years, and was asked to join Palm Beach County Commissioner Steve Abrams’ Advisory Board for four years. Now an avid artist and talented painter, Lynne is focusing on giving back to the community she loves.
Through her years in the real estate world, Lynne has seen the hardships and pain that families go through when they are faced with the reality that they cannot afford to buy a home of their own, and she is determined to help change that. Lynne is now devoting her time, real estate experience and artistic talent to Habitat for Humanity. When asked how she will find the time Lynne stated, “I love the mission and vision that Habitat for Humanity is based on. I also know how important it is for families to have a decent place to live. The families themselves put in at least 400 hours of sweat equity into the construction of their new home, the least I can do is find time to contribute”.
