Five Star Painting Gives Back, Paints Local Beach Pavilion
Five Star Painting donates materials and labor to beautify Yacht Club Community Park beach pavilion.
Cape Coral, FL, December 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Five Star Painting of Cape Coral, Fla. gave back to the community this fall, beautifying the Yacht Club Community Park beach pavilion with new color through a fresh coat of interior and exterior paint.
As part of the 2014 Five Star Cares community outreach initiative, the Cape Coral Five Star Painting franchise donated paint supplies and labor, including four professional painters to enhance the look of the beach pavilion to the benefit of the community. The new-look beach pavilion now features colors more characteristic to Florida’s tropical style.
“It feels good that we were able to help out the community, give back, and make our community a better place to enjoy,” said Zack Zonker, Five Star Painting Project Manager.
The approximately 5,400 square foot beach pavilion at the Yacht Club Community Park can accommodate up to 200 people for functions such as birthday parties, weddings and family reunions. Five Star Painting painted the interior and exterior walls of the pavilion, which connects to a beach on the Caloosahatchee River. The Yacht Club Community Park is one of the original landmarks of the City of Cape Coral and provides access to recreational activities for thousands of guests on a yearly basis.
“We’re very glad and happy Five Star Painting decided to paint the beach pavilion,” Yacht Club Manager Barbara Dickinson said. “The budget is very tight, so to have a local business in the community step up and paint a community building for us is terrific. The colors make a big difference – it’s tropical looking, blends in with the area and is a big improvement.”
Having opened two southwest Florida Five Star Painting franchises in July 2014, franchise owner Jeff Zonker operates the business as a family with his wife Cindy, and two sons Zack and Nick. The painting company strives to create beautiful spaces through color in the Cape Coral and Fort Myers regions.
“It really feels good to give back to the community who supports our business, and at a time when the Parks and Recreation budget didn’t allow for beautification improvements,” Jeff Zonker said. “We also hope that by becoming involved in community outreach, we will be able to further grow our business.”
As a national painting company located in various cities across the United States and Canada, Five Star Painting’s mission is to capture customers’ dreams and enhance their lifestyle by adding color to their world.
