Pearl of Africa Choir Performs at Walford Campus

Oswestry, United Kingdom, December 18, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Staff and students at Walford and North Shropshire College’s (WNSC) Walford Campus where treated to a surprise performance by a Ugandan choir. The Pearl of Africa Choir is part of a group of 17 Ugandans who were visiting Shropshire on a farming skills programme; they paid the Walford Campus a visit and received a tour of the R D Park Dairy and the Stable Block at the College.

At the end of their visit, the Choir performed for staff and students at the Walford Campus and gave thanks for the welcome they had received at WNSC, the group enjoyed their visit and the welcome they had received and have already booked to return in 2015. Whilst at the campus, they put out collection tins to raise money for their Choir and Schools back home. They raised in total £216.72 over the course of the night.
