RYDE to Provide Game Transportation for San Diego Bowl Games - SDCCU Poinsettia Bowl and National University Holiday Bowl
Luxury Motorcoaches Provide Enhanced Access to Qualcomm Stadium from Multiple Locations.
Los Angeles, CA, December 19, 2014 --(PR.com)-- RYDE an innovative crowdsourcing transportation service platform, has partnered with San Diego Bowl Games (SDBG) to transport game attendees to the two bowl games featured at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego: San Diego County Credit Union (SDCCU) Poinsettia Bowl December 23rd between San Diego State University and Navy, and the National University Holiday Bowl December 27th between USC and Nebraska. Fans reserve individual seats on luxury motorcoaches for a roundtrip RYDE to the game, enabling them to avoid traffic and parking issues while helping to reduce their carbon footprint. Options to purchase game tickets are also available on the RYDEthere.com site.
“San Diego is the perfect destination spot for Bowl Game season, and we are looking forward to helping the Holiday Bowl and Poinsettia Bowl enhance the fan experience in getting to the Field,” said Bob Aube, Founder and Chief Revenue Officer at RYDE. “Our partnership with SDBG is based on our joint objective to give Bowl attendees an alternative transportation option that is fun, convenient, safe, and affordable and helps eliminate the hassles often associated with single car driving to large scale events like football games. RYDE can be the responsible designated driver for these exciting San Diego Bowl games.”
“We are excited to partner with RYDE to get fans to the National University Holiday Bowl and SDCCU Poinsettia Bowl. They know our geographic market, so clearly understand our desire to get our fans easily and safely to the games,” said Bruce Binkowski, Executive Director of the San Diego Bowl Game Association. “Our goal is to give Bowl game fans comfortable buses that take them from surrounding cities directly to the stadium; it makes the game experience more enjoyable, and helps maintain safety on the roads while minimizing the traffic impact.”
Shuttle buses will depart from locations in Encinitas, Del Mar, Temecula, Mira Mesa, Santee, Chula Vista, La Mesa, the Sheraton Marina, and Mission Viejo, and arrive at Qualcomm Stadium in designated bus parking close to the stadium. Buses will depart from Qualcomm Stadium 30 minutes after the game to return fans to their original location. Pricing starts at $35 for the RYDE transportation.
